People are often surprised that I do not often listen to music, being a musician and all... but the truth is, I find it very difficult to separate myself from certain lyrics or melodies and usually end up standing in front of my French doors looking out on the little piazza below sobbing through anyone from Bach to Joni Mitchell, Chet Baker to Jackson Browne, Ella Fitzgerald to Carly Simon, or as I did this morning-Stevie Nicks.
